Ferhat Demir, a Board Member of the Women Soccer Player Association and an academic, carried out an important visit to the Turkish Grand National Assembly on behalf of the association.
As part of the visit, a meeting was held with AK Party İzmir MP and former Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu. During the meeting, comprehensive information was shared about the Women Soccer Player Association's work for national sports and, in particular, the development of women's football.
During the visit, a plaque was presented to Mr. Kasapoğlu on behalf of the association in recognition of his contributions to women's football and his support for sports. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the meeting covered the current state of women's football in Türkiye, areas for development, and future collaboration opportunities.
The Women Soccer Player Association will continue its determined efforts to bring women's football to wider audiences, build it into a sustainable structure, and create more opportunities for young athletes.
