A New Era for the Women Soccer Player Association

The Women Soccer Player Association, which continues its efforts to contribute to the development of women's football, held its 1st Ordinary General Assembly at the association's headquarters.

At the general assembly meeting, which saw participation beyond expectations, the association's activities over the past three years were thoroughly evaluated.

During the assembly, the current management's activity report and financial reports were presented to the members, and following the vote, the previous board of directors was formally discharged. In the elections that followed, the association's new leadership was determined, with Bedri Akkerman elected as president.

The meeting also addressed the association's roadmap for the next three years, sharing planned projects and initiatives for the development of women's football with the members. In particular, comprehensive presentations were given on social responsibility projects, training programs, panels, and organizations aimed at raising awareness of women's football.

The board of directors elected for the new term consists of the following individuals:

  • Board Members: Yıldıray Arslan, Utku Özlem Coşan, and Ömer Uçman

Following contributions, suggestions, and well-wishes from participants, the general assembly meeting concluded with messages of unity and solidarity.

It was stated that under the new leadership, the Women Soccer Player Association will resolutely continue its efforts to bring women's football to wider audiences, contribute to the social and professional development of athletes, and carry out awareness initiatives at both national and international levels.
